So here is the tour of our house....
This is what you would see upon entering our front door. The living room and computer desk. Our papasan blocks one of the doors to our backyard.
Looking toward the left side of the living room. This is half of our big bookshelf. The movers lost the other half of it. :(
Standing by the backdoor looking toward the entryway and front door.
When you first entered you may have noticed a doorway to the right of the computer desk. This goes into our dining room. The mismatched table and chairs is because the movers broke our big table so we are using our old small dining table with half old chairs and half new. This room also doubles as our main school area.
Standing at the backdoor in the dining room looking into the kitchen.
More dining room and kitchen.
I have a nice cubby for my dehydrator and a neat little shelf for cookbooks. It is a small kitchen but lots of cabinet space and I like it.
When you head back out of the kitchen toward the living room, there is a door to the left that goes into a laundry room. Again I have lots of cupboards that is very nice. At the end of the room is a doorway to the garage, and on the other wall are more cupboards and a big pantry.
I am really loving my big walk in pantry! I can even fit most of my buckets on food in there.
As we head past living room and down the hall we find the kids bathroom to the left. They love the two sinks and that there is a separate door to the toilet and tub.
Now one person can shower and all the others can still be brushing teeth. :)
At the end of the hall is a huge storage closet. We are using it for a school closet. Camie also opted to put her desk in here for when she needs quiet for schoolwork.
If you head to the left at the end of the hall we have these nice cabinets to store all our games in. This is right outside the boys room.
The boys have this nice big window that lets in the early morning sun. So I do not have much hope of them sleeping in.
Logan enjoying his room. He is glad to have his stuff back.
Standing right outside the boys room looking straight down the hall into Russ' and my room. The first door to the left is the storage closet and the second is the girls room.
We had to remove the fan blades because of the triple bunk. It is so nice to only have the one bed though because the room is small.
Julie's school desk and their 'dressers'
The girls bookshelf and closet.
After the girls room, our bedroom is the last one at the end of the hall.
When you first enter my room there is a door to the right that goes into my bathrom.
We also have two sinks and a rather large bathroom.
We also have a small walk in closet
Below is the view back into the hall standing by the window in my room. Now that you have seen the house let's head to the backyard.
This is our back pation. It is nice that we have a large outside storage closet. The nice thing about military housing is that they almost always have big storage closets.
I am really liking out big backyard.
So we hope you have enjoyed this virtual tour of our new house. We really hope that it will entice you to want the live and in person version! :)
